The African Centre for Media & Information Literacy is dedicated to a new vision of media and information literacy that will provide Africans with the skills required for effective participation in development activities, using creative media and providing opportunities for their increased positive presence in media and ICT.
The Students’ Tax Advocacy Initiative (STAI) has completed plans to collaborate with selected non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to replicate “Students Advocate for Tax (SAT)” programme in 36 states of the federation. The African Centre for Media & Information Literacy is one of the NGOs selected for the replication programme. “Students Advocate for Tax (SAT)” is an extra-curricular programme developed collaboratively by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and Society for Youth Empowerment in Nigeria (SYEN).
