Colloquium on rethinking African education to hold in Lagos

The Pan-African Newspaper, The Difference is billed to hold the third edition of her annual Africa Day Colloquium on Thursday, July 26, 2018.

A summit dedicated to exploring issues in the pan-African development space, the theme of the event this year is Rethinking African Education and the venue is the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, NSPRI Place, NSPRI Guest House, 32/38 Barikisu Iyede Street, off UNILAG Road, Onitiri, Yaba.

The event is billed to run from 11-00am to 1.00pm.

Speakers at the event include Professor Ngozi Osarenren of the Faculty of Education, University of Lagos, Professor Biko Agozino of the Virginia Tech University, USA, Mr. Ola Opesan of Meadow Hall School, Lekki, Lagos and Professor Hope Eghagha, Head, Department of English, University of Lagos.

Commencing formal activity in 2007, The Difference publishes a weekly print edition that is circulated in Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic and Cote d’Ivoire. It also publishes the companion Africa Day journal and runs a daily online news service via its web portal (www.thedifferencenews.com).
